grumble....grumble....
So here it is - a new page for a new year.  That year being, I guess, 2003, as it seems that I've pretty much missed 2002.  Sam Eagle stays, and below is a photo of my new office assistant who is purely evil and does my bidding, and the festive decorating style in my new apartment, which is soon to become my old apartment.

I guess 2002 has been a good year.  I rang it in with style, I can say that much with certainty, under upside down Christmas trees on the other side of the world.  It remains to see how it will go out, but I like to think that it will be interesting, if nothing else.

And what's to come?  Who knows.  I predict a dismal curling season, hurt by the loss of the team's most graceful faller.  I predict not enough studying, hopefully due to too much partying, and some making the most of our last term as UW students before we become UW grads and official adults, forced to fend for ourselves.

But right now I predict microwave popcorn and Oceans 11.
