| OK so in compliance with Linh's wishes I will update my page. I once decided to devote the page to nasty emails that I would send to companies but it turns out that I didn't really send many bitchy emails merely bitched a lot about stuff. Well as luck would have it, today was full of ranting emails. I will post the new emails and the responses I have received from them and what I think about the responses. Fun eh? Well if not, too damn bad! So the first letter that I wrote today was to Greyhound.com about their take over of the Penetang-Midland Coach Line (PMCL) take over. Subject: What happened to the old website? Hi, What happened to the old PMCL website that actually gave me info about when buses were departing and arriving. This new bandaid page taking me to Greyhound Travel Services is not helpful at all since it gives me no info at all on bus schedules or fares. There isn't even a link to the old page. This website is completely useless to anyone trying to use it. Then I see that I can't even use the Greyhound.ca page to look up schedules because it doesn't list my destination even though it appears that Greyhound has bought out PMCL. I'm looking to go to Orillia and find it very annoying that I can't easily look this information up especially since I could before. Please add a link to a helpful page because I don't care about your sightseeing tours. Thanks, Jen Marshall Their response to me: Sorry for the inconvenience Jen, the previous site had not been updated since 1999 and contained inaccurate scheduling information. We are working on the site currently. For the interim you can call 1-800-661-8747 and get fares and schedule information. My planned response to this email. Dear PMCL, Greyhound Travel Services, Thank you for your canned response to my legitimate concern. I will be sure to brand the number that you gave me into the forehead of my first born as I'm sure that I will still be using this number to find out the bus schedule from Toronto to Orillia. The second email was to a company in NY that still has not sent me some earrings that I ordered. Hi, I just want to know if you have actually resent my amethyst earrings or not. I ordered these earrings on Sept 28 and feel that it is completely unreasonable to have to wait over two months to receive them. Please send them right away before I take further action. Thanks, Jen I will wait for their response to this. I will threaten to use my eBay power against them if it comes to that. So beyond me freaking out on various people, life is relatively good. Almost done work and before you know it I will be almost done school as well and will be kicked out into the cold, hard, real world. |
