A few months later I had in hand my pink and blue cotton candy.
It was sickeningly sticky and sinfully sweet,
and best of all, it was from my very first circus.
I ogled the elephants and the tigers,
and cheered wildly for the clowns, with their silly shoes and ridiculous cars.
I was having
