Accessing the TDSBweb Intranet (internal web site)

The TDSBweb is the TDSB intranet (internal web site) that provides employees with 24-hour access from work or any off-site computer with internet access. This secure environment allows employees to access tools and resources needed to perform their duties as well as access to professional growth resources, employee services forms, employee benefit information, job postings and much more.

How to Log on With Your Employee Number and Password

Staff who currently do not log on to the network using their employee number and password, follow the two easy steps below. It is recommended that first time users log on from a TDSB networked workstation so you may call the HELP Desk at 416-395-4357 (option 5) if you have problems logging on or if you have fforgotten your password,

How to access from a TDSB Networked Workstation

From your browser (Netscape 4.7 or higher or Explorer 5) enter http://tdsbweb or if you are prompted with a log in screen, proceed to Step 1.

Step 1 - Employee Number

Enter your six-digit employee number (refer to your pay stub).

Step 2 — Password

Your initial eight-digit password is the last four digits of your Social Insurance Number (SIN) and the day and month of your birthday (eg. if your SIN is 123 456 789, enter 6789 and your birth date is February 1, enter 0102). Once you have successfully logged on with the generated password, you will be prompted to change your password. Choose a password that will be easy to remember (numbers or characters are acceptable). Your new password is case sensitive and must be exactly eight characters. For security purposes, passwords expire every 42 days. If you log on after 42 days, you will be prompted to enter your expired password to allow entry for you to create a new password.

How to access from any Off-Site Computer with Internet Access
