Lozerboy Rants about Manga!

Well guys, I'm back again (cue theme from Jaws). It's taken me a while, but I've found the inspiration for a new session of ranting. This time it's the creation of anime/manga that's bugging me. By creation of anime I mean the drawing process. The complicated, difficult, grueling task of drawing. And so, without further ado; a failed attempt at writing. . . and drawing.
Over the course of seven years I have tried multiple times to draw my own manga, and I'm sorry to say I have not yet succeeded. To tell the truth I've rarely made it past the first panel before giving up, crumpling the paper, or finding something less time consuming to do. Now many of my problems stem from my lack of attention span. I find it impossible to sit down and draw a series of pictures related through plot. And so arises a new problem; the plot. I begin to draw manga without any story ideas at all and become frustrated and toss the paper away.
I am ashamed to say that I have killed many trees this way. Tree huggers everywhere be on the look out for the infamous tree-killer: Lozerboy! On the lighter side, the pre-mentioned "tree huggers" should be happy to learn that I have realized my sins, and have hopefully atoned for them by beginning to recycle. But, I'm way off topic. Back to my crappy anime drawings.
I have one question for all you Japanese artists, how the heck do you draw so well? Huh? Well, I did some research and I've found one of the many answers for my question. Some of these artists have small armies of other artists helping them create their manga masterpieces. But I guess others just have some major skill. So there's no true explanation for the amazing drawing skills of the Japanese. And there's no real explanation for my awful drawing skills.
By this time my muse is walking (or floating, or flying, or hovering . . . however muses travel) away from my computer screen shaking his head in disgust, so I guess I'll have to write this conclusion all by my one-some. For those of you who are clueless as to what I just wrote a muse is something from Greek mythology . . . I think . . . and, actually, they were women . . . all of them . . . according to Karen . . . however, my muse is a man. And we'll just leave it at that, shall we? I guess my artistic license is lost in this article . . . which is about art, no less. I think my license is expired . . . Anyway! What I meant by all of this was I have lost what little inspiration I have to begin with and this is about to get really, really stupid. So I'll wrap this up as fast as I can. Conclusion: Lozerboy can't draw anime worth $#@%.
Well children, before Uncle Lozerboy goes off to do whatever quirky thought comes into his head he gives you a warning. Avoid McDonald's for a while. No matter how good those little kid's meal taste you don't want Mad Cow Disease, trust me it's bad. Those nice folks over at Chick Fillet have the right idea. And now kids, a lesson in paper wrappage uppage (in layman's terms: how to end a bit of writing that should have ended long ago). The best two words to end a column in the world are: THE END.

Email Lozerboy and tell him that Karen is the best! (or actually talk to him... that'd be weird... just kidding i love you lozer)[email protected]
