This story is a novel-ish doothingie, so it's gonna take me a while to transfer it from my composition book into the computer. I'll try to update in fairly large chunks. I'll also take a while cause paragraphing in html is a butt when you have lots of talking. For something off the subjuct, italics are what a person hears in their mind or thinks (I hear voices! I hear voices!). Please enjoy. ~Karen

Gundam Moon S

Rei fire-gazed. She prayed to the fire for everything- fore-warnings, help, comforteverything. For Rei was a priestess, and fire was her hobby, her pastime, her jobher obsessionher life. So, Rei fire-gazed.
Aside from the fire, the temple was quite dark. It was also almost silent, which was strange, as the fire was crackling and Rei was muttering, "Fire is light, flame is sight." It was if the fire was only an image and not really part of the temple.
SilentdarkRei gasped as the atmosphere changed completely. The fire leapt high into the air and turned a blinding green; a loud roar replaced the silence. Rei recovered quickly and concentrated on the huge fire.
Fire is light
Flame is sight
Dark is coming
Dark is night
Hell blot out the fire in the sky
Right before the Sailors die

Rei passed out and the fire extinguished.

"Bean me!" Karen yelled.
"Love to!" Chiquita responded. She punted the soccer ball at Karen. Karen screamed and ducked.
"Out of bounds!" Cardiff yelled.
"Chiquita! Whatd you do that for?" Kara fumed.
"She told me to! She was supposed to head it!"
Karen scowled. "What dja want me to do? Drop the drinks?"
"You told me to bean you!"
"Anyway, the ball is ours now."
Leeann grinned at Chiquita. "It suuuure is! And were gonna kick your butts!"
Chiquita snorted, "Not likely."
"Chiquita, really! Why did you punt it at Karen?"
"She was supposed to head it!"
"Shes not even playing!"
"We can still win!"
"Heh heh, whatever."
"You guys never even had a chance against us! And now weve got the ball!"
It was a beautiful summer day. One of those days thats just on the shy edge of hot. Karen, Kara, and Leeann were comfortable in tank tops. Karens was just sleeveless, however, Leeanns and Karas were spaghetti strap, and their bellybuttons were clearly visible. Chiquita and Cardiff were being slightly more modest. Chiquita was wearing a jersey. Cardiff insisted on wearing a tee shirt, but shed rolled up the sleeves. Dont bother wondering how this was more modest than Karens tank top.
They were playing soccer in Chiquitas backyard. It was Chiquita and Kara versus Leeann and Cardiff. The score was three, three. Karen, who wasnt playing, had just came outside with everyones drinks.
Now she scolded, "Guys, if you dont chill, Ill drink this all this by myself." She tilted her head towards the tray she was holding that had several cans of soda on it.
"We could use a break anyway," Leeann shrugged.
"Yeah, Im really overheated," Cardiff agreed.
Karen still didnt hand over the drinks. "You guys have to drink some water, too. I dont want you to get sick."
"Yes, mother," Cardiff muttered.
"That would really suck if we couldnt finish the game cause we got dehydrated," Kara said.
"Yeah," Chiquita seconded, sounding sad.
Karen nodded with a superior look.
"Karen might have to take my place if I got sick! And weve all seen how bad she is at soccer!" she finished.
Cardiff out and laughed. Kara shrugged one shoulder, as if saying, "Yeah, I guess." Leeann kind of giggled. Or maybe she chuckled. Or maybe she laughed softly. Theres probably no word to describe what she did.
Chiquita and Karen smirked at each other.
"Yeah, you really had the ball under control when Henry was tripping you," Karen shot back. Cardiff smirked at the memory.
Chiquita replied, "You werent exactly graceful, either."
Karen shrugged. "Least I kept on two feet."
Leeann asked timidly, "Uhexcuse me, are you going to give me my Coke any time soon?"
"No," Chiquita, Karen, Cardiff, and Kara all said at the same time. There was a pause. Then Karen laughed. Cardiff and
Chiquita shuddered.
"Man, that was freaky," Chiquita said.
Cardiff informed Leeann, "Its actually Pepsi, not Coke."
Leeann waved a hand in a dismissive way. "Pepsi, Coke, same difference."
Cardiff put up one finger and opened her mouth. "Uhno."
Karen held a Pepsi One above her head. "Pepsi One?"
"Here," Cardiff replied, as if doing roll call. Karen handed it to her.
She repeated the process. "Pepsi One?"
"Here," Chiquita answered.
"Pepsi?"
Leeann raised her hand. "Present!"
Kara and Cardiff slapped their foreheads.
"Cherry Coke? Here," Karen said as she set the Cherry Coke back onto the tray.
"Pepsi?" Kara waved in response.
They laid down on the grass and began sipping on their drinks.
"Man, its hot," Chiquita complained.
"Uhnn" Cardiff groaned.
"Id sure like to go swimming," Leeann sighed.
"I always like to go swimming," Karen grinned.
Kara looked at the sky. "Sorry, guys, looks like youll have to wait on the swimming thing." She pointed to the north, where dark clouds were rapidly gathering.
"Thunder. Cool," Cardiff said.
"Aww, man, " Karen sighed.
Leeann patted her shoulder. "Its okay, we can go swimming tomorrow."
Karen nodded and took a big drink of Cherry Coke.
"Ew, gross, theres a fly drowning in my Pepsi, " Leeann whined in disgust.
Karens eyes bulged and the Cherry Coke came shooting out of her mouth as she laughed.

Duo moved one of his rooks. Trowa moved a bishop.
"Checkmate," he announced.
"What?!?" Duo yelled in outrage. Trowa permitted himself a small smile.
"How? NO! WAY!!" Duo practically screamed.
"Care to play again?" Trowa asked as he put his pieces back to their starting positions.
"You bet!" Duo followed Trowas suit. "Ill beat you this time!"
Quatre, who was playing chess against Wufei, called over to Duo, "Maybe you should take a break. Thats the twelfth game youve lost in a row." Wufei and Hiro couldnt resist a snicker.
"How dare you suggest that! Im gonna beat this guy!" Duo yelled.
"I doubt that," Trowa replied.
It was the same day the Otakus were enjoying. However, it was a different universe. The Gundam Pilots were sitting next to the pool in Quatres mansion.
Trowa and Quatre must have a high tolerance for heat. Trowa was wearing his usual turtleneck, and Quatre was wearing that silly dress shirt and his vest. Duo had apparently decided it was too warm for black, as he was wearing his red basketball jersey. Wufei was wearing his normal navy tank top and interesting white pants. Hiro had donned the usual.
"Checkmate."
"NO!"
"Play again?"
"You bet!"
"Checkmate."
"WHAT?!?"
Quatre suggested again, "Maybe you should take a break, Duo." Duo leaned back in his chair and struck a classic pose with his hands behind his head.
"YeahI guess," he sighed. "Hey, Hiro, wanna shoot some hoops?" He threw a basketball at Hiro before he could answer.
Quatre looked over at Duo. "I was actually thinking wed go swimming tonight, but I guess we can wait until tomorrow."
Duo nodded, "Uh-huh. Cmon, Hiro!" He grabbed another basketball and ran to the side yard.
Wufei muttered something that sounded remarkably like, "Crazy American."
