This is my first try at writing fan fic about an anime so please don’t kill me. You can writhe in agony while you read it just no violence please. Anyway, the Ronin Warriors belong to Sunrise Inc. and the Ocean Group. Please don’t sue me. Kara and the other characters I made up and the story are all mine. Any similarity to something else is purely coincidental. I hope you enjoy!
Note: All the characters featured in this story are of an ALTERNATE DIMENSION. This means that the Kara in this story ain't me. And believe me, I know. ;P
This story takes place after the series ends. For those of you who don’t remember, the last episode is about the Ronin Warriors defeating Talpa and the Dynasty once and for all. The last scene in the episode is the Ronin Warriors, Mia, Uli, and White Blaze playing baseball with the Jewel of Life. Then, White Blaze grabbed it and began running away with it. The rest of the people chase him. And this is where my story begins.
Also, in my story, I try to keep to these ages: Ronin Warriors=17, Kara=16, Mia=18, Uli and Aiko=8. I know what you’re thinking: get on with it already!
He looked behind him. White Blaze couldn’t even see them anymore; they had fallen too far behind. He sniffed the air. A strange scent filled his nostrils. The tiger followed it into a dark alley.
The glowing ball in his mouth shined into the alley so the tiger could see two trash cans and a brick wall. Although, he could see these things without the help of the light of the ball.
He didn’t notice anything strange but the smell was much stronger. All of a sudden, there was a glimmer of light and then a girl appeared. She looked to be the age of his master, maybe a bit younger.
When he sniffed the air, he could tell it was her that he had smelled. She had your basic human smell and of course it was a bit different because each human had a different smell. But she also had the smell of something mystical. His master had this smell; so did the rest of the Ronin Warriors. That’s why she was interesting. Only special humans had that smell.
He softly growled at her and had the feeling that he knew her from somewhere but he didn’t know where.
"Hello, White Blaze. Long time, no see," the girl said with a smile.
He growled again.
"Don’t you remember me, White Blaze?" she asked, taking a step closer to him.
He growled again, more ferociously this time as a warning.
She took a step back and put her hands up.
"Well, you do remember the Ancient One, don’t you?" she asked.
White Blaze recalled his old master, the one he’d been with for thousands of years. The Ancient One had sacrificed his life to create a bridge to the Dynasty so the Ronin Warriors could fight Talpa. White Blaze had a picture in his mind of the Ancient One when he suddenly saw a little girl standing next to the Ancient One. The white tiger looked at the girl standing before him and recognized her as the same little girl.
He purred softly and rubbed his head against her leg. She petted his giant head.
"I thought you’d remember me," she said.
The girl came down on one knee in front of the tiger.
"Now, White Blaze, I need you to give me the Jewel of Life," cupping her hands in front of his mouth.
The white tiger looked into her eyes and shook his immense head.
"Why not? Do you think I’m not ready?" she asked him.
He nodded.
"But I am! I am ready! You’re just like Grandfather!" she yelled angrily as she stood up.
He shook his head again.
"Look, White Blaze. I need the Jewel of Life. It’s my and this earth’s only hope!" she cried desperately.
The tiger would not part with the ball. Then he growled something.
"No, the Ronin Warriors cannot fight this battle. They wouldn’t know how! That’s why I need the Jewel of Life. Please, White Blaze, please!" she pleaded with the tiger.
He doesn’t understand. If he doesn’t give me the Jewel of Life, the earth is doomed. As powerful as the Ronin Warriors are, they’ll be no match for the impending evil that’s coming to this world, the girl thought.
White Blaze growled something else.
"No, I’m not exactly sure what the evil is, I just know that they can’t fight it. I have to but even I won’t be powerful enough to defeat it without the Jewel. Please, White Blaze, you must understand. I---" the girl began.
But then a voice rang out, "White Blaze, where are you?"
The girl gave out a gasp. There was a shimmer of light around her and then she gone.
"White Blaze, there you are!" a teenage boy with long black hair and blue eyes said from behind the tiger.
White Blaze turned around to see his master. The boy was wearing a red T-shirt, jeans, and a baseball jacket that said 01 in red on the shoulders and had a red ‘R’ on the front.
"Hey Ryo! Did you find him?" another voice called out.
A boy about Ryo’s age stepped into view. He had short blonde hair that was flipped over to cover his right light blue-gray eye. His other eye sparkled with mischief. The boy was wearing a green T-shirt, jeans, and a baseball jacket like Ryo’s except his said 03 in green on the sleeves and had a green ‘S’ emblazoned on the front.
"Yeah, he’s right here, Sage," Ryo told him.
"Well, come on. The others are waiting. Kento’s bottomless pit is growling again. And his roar is even louder than White Blaze’s," Sage said with a smile.
Ryo smiled back and said to White Blaze," C’mon, White Blaze. We don’t want to keep Kento waiting."
The tiger growled and loped after his master.
"Awwwwwwwww! Where the crap is Ryo and Sage? If I don’t eat something soon, I’m gonna shrivel up and die!" wailed a teenage boy with shoulder length dark blue hair.
He had dark blue eyes to match his hair and was wearing a gold headband. The boy was also wearing the same kind of jacket Ryo and Sage had been wearing except his had an orange 05 and an orange ‘K’. He was jumping up and down in anxiety.
"Wheeerrreee arrreee theeyy? I don’t see them! Can we just get some food without them?" he complained.
A girl about eighteen smiled at the boy’s predicament. She was wearing short blue shorts with thigh-high blue tights and blue dress shoes. The young lady also wore a white collared button up shirt and a pink sweater. She wore her long light brown hair free and she had a twinkle in her green eyes.
"Kento, they’ll be back. They just went to get White Blaze. And I bet they’ll be back soon or at least before you melt," she said in the polite way she always talked.
Kento turned to face her.
"I don’t think so, Mia. I might be dead and buried long before they get here," he said.
"I’ll go get the shovels," a boy about Kento’s age said in an Aussie accent.
He had long light brown hair and light blue eyes that matched the T-shirt he was wearing. The teen also had jeans and a jacket like the others except his had a light blue 04 and a light blue ‘S’.
Kento gave him a look.
"Very funny, Sai," he said.
Sai took a bow.
"Thank you, thank you. No autographs, please," he said.
"Why you----" Kento said and took a step towards Sai.
"Hey, cool it, Kento. Or you don’t get lunch," another teenage boy said.
He had short dark blue hair that matched the headband he wore and his eyes. The boy was wearing the same outfit that the other boys were wearing except his jacket had a dark blue 02 and ‘R’.
A look of horror came upon Kento’s face.
"No, not that! Anything but that, Rowin! The horror, the sheer, unspeakable HORROR!" Kento cried out in terror to the blue hair boy.
Rowin smiled and said," I KNEW that would shut you up!"
Kento gave him a look.
"There they are! There’s Ryo and Sage! Isn’t that them, Mia?" a small boy about eight with brown hair and blue eyes cried out.
He was wearing a blue T-shirt with a creme sweater over that and blue shorts and sneakers. Mia squinted at the horizon.
"Yes it is them, Uli!" she said and pointed.
Ryo, Sage and White Blaze ran up to the group and greeted them.
"Now, can we eat?" Kento asked impatiently.
Mia smiled and nodded.
"Woo hoo!" Kento yelled in triumph and jumped into Mia’s red Jeep.
The others, except Ryo and Uli who mounted White Blaze, followed his suit and climbed in. White Blaze took off , with the Jeep following, towards the nearest deli.
