| Card Captors is a pretty good anime. It's about agirl named Sakura who accedently unleashes the power of the Clow cards. Then she must recapture all of the cards with the aid of Kero the guardian of the cards, Lee a migician, Madison the costume girl, and a warrior named Meyline also Lee's girl friend. My favorite character is Lee. Igive this anime 7 out of 10. By Otomo I'm changing my rating to atleast 8 out of 10 because season 2 is awesome i have a new fav character Yua if thats how you spell it.-Otomo |
| This is a great anime. It may seem like your average girl anime, but it is much better. It does focus on real life, but also on action and the supernatural. The characters are varied and well developed. They also work well together. The powers in the show as well as the action are all done well. It has great special effects and a cinematic feel. The story is original and goes along well with new characters apearing and new developments in Sakura's life, such as her brother's ability to see ghosts. Season two also looks promising with new characters and powers as well as a new enemy. Offensible content- Minor violence and a heavy use of magic. Total score- 9 of 10. Would be ten except for the magic, which is used for good, which is an untrue paradox of real life. Note: This review is of the show as seen on TV, not on video. By Milo |
