The Otaku Test

Do you:

1. Know how to count in different languages? (Une, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, Trieze…)
2. Get really excited when your favorite anime show is on and force everyone around you to either shut up or get out?
3. Sing the theme song to your favorite anime program…in Japanese?
4. Actually know what the words mean when you sing them?
5. Know what the words baka, nani, chotto matte, kisama, arigato and aishiteru mean and manage to work them into everyday cnversation?
6. Your friends and family know what the words baka, nani, chotto matte, arigato, and aishiteru mean and are always telling you to URUSAI!!!
7. You scream "Look out!" at the television whenever your favorite character looks like they’re about to get squashed (or blown up, or shot, or beaten, or eaten…)
8. You try to style your hair to look like your favorite character’s. Maybe dye it…
9. You know all the character’s names, their birthdates, their hobbies, their favorite colour, their parents names, etc…

10. You talk about them like they are real.

11. You talk to them like they’re real.

12. You name your pets after characters. (pet bunny named Usagi, pet cat named Wufei, ect.)

13. You convince your parents to let you name your baby brother Quatre.

14. You dream in Japanese…with subtitles!

15. You know what pocky is.

16. You’ve begged your mom to go to the store and buy you some pocky.

17. You have a preferred flavour of pocky (marble almond…mmmmm)

18.You spend all day watching anime and all night writing fanfiction about anime. (need…sleep…::snore::…)

19.You think that having a horse for a boyfriend wouldn’t be that bad. (Helios is one mighty fine bishounen..er…horse?)

20.You know what manga is.

21.You have manga.

22.You have so much manga that your parents are now calling your room "the library".

23.You’ve made a shrine to your favorite characters.

24.You’ve made several shrines to your favorite characters.

25.You’re house is one big giant shrine and now your guests must take off their shoes and bow down to the statue of Wing Zero and light incense for Wufei’s dragon.

26.You know what "ki" (or chi) is and you’ve written an extensive essay about it for school.

27.When your English teacher tells you to list your heroes you tell him/her about Goku, Trunks, and Gohan and manage to persuade him/her that they really are heroes.
