The Sea Lions are not to be messed with when you travel near their Pups on the beach side. They are very protective Parents as well as fearless fighters in doing so. They wont retreat from their home but will take the time to kill, and slather you and then eat you unless you retreat ASAP before more surround you. They fight in Large Numbers in a gang or swarm.
