Beautiful Accident review
(Seventh Circle)

Goth? Depends on your definition but they don't fit mine. Aggro-rock? Not unless that genre has become more melodic than when I was last really paying attention to that scene. Talented? Damn right.
You're Pretty, a four piece south of the border, are turning some heads and rightfully so. They are one of the few among the throng of heavier sounding rock acts that can really put it together into a neat package and still come off sounding original in a scene mostly comprised of lame label created cookie-cutter acts.
Beth Musolff's vocals are what gives this band it's intense sound. She has wicked range and puts forth an incredible amount of passion through her voice with every syllable that comes from her lips (cute lips too). Her vocals give an immediate feel of sincerity and honesty that few can accomplish.
You're Pretty does back it up behind her with some great composition skills for a relative newcomer. While Beth might be the spotlight...the music that surrounds her voice is what puts it there. The music has equally good range as well, going from the hard and driving tunes like "Breakthrough or Breakdown", to the more slowed down melodic "I Am Not".
Not quite metal since it is not hard enough. Not quite rock since it has far too much talent to be associated with the likes of Nickelback, Creed, and Staind. Not quite goth unless you think a band is goth because a coupla members wear lotsa black. Somehow they find their sweet spot somewhere in-between all of that.
And sweet it definitely is.
