Technology Transfer and Development Directory (2002). Assessor. Works on Energy and the Environment, directly reporting to the State Secretary of Environment, Professor Jose Goldemberg. Member of the Brazilian delegation in the Johannesburg 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development, where the Brailian Energy Initiative on Renewable Energy was proposed. Works for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) trained in Trieste, Italy for the use of the MESSAGE model for energy planning.

Global Issues Division (1996-98 and 1999-2001). Engineer. Works on Climate Change and Ozone Depletion. Member of the technical study group for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - IPCC. Reports and research related to greenhouse gases from waste and energy sources. Vice-president of the internal commission for energy rationalization. Coordination of Brazil/Canada ozone depleting substances cooperation project. Participation in national and international events. Participation in projects funded by the U.S. Country Studies/UNDP (The Brazilian National Inventory of Methane Generated by Wastes), GTZ (Profile of Anaerobic Digestion in Brazil), Environment Canada/Montreal Protocol Multilateral Fund (Brazilian Halons Recovery and Recycling Project).
