OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY POLICY BENEFITS
Ohio State University study abroad participants have insurance benefits from HTH Worldwide that provides 100% coverage for medically necessary care, with no deductibles or co-payments, up to a maximum of $ 100,000. Prescriptions are reimbursed at 80%. Coverage for emergency evacuations is provided in the amount of $ 75,000. In addition, there is a "bedside visit" benefit for family members of $ 1,500 when a student is hospitalised for more than 7 days.
HTH IDENTIFICATION CARD
An HTH identification card is provided to each OSU study abroad participant prior to departure. Emergency phone numbers are listed on the reverse side of the card.
If you lose your HTH card, contact your resident director.

ENGLISH SPEAKING MEDICAL CENTER IN NANTES
You will need to make a 25 euros payment at the time of the office consultation and buy your medecine from the pharmacy. Then, you will submit an HTH claim as soon as possible  to ensure timely reimbursement. Email and fax claims are accepted.

1. Access HTH Worldwide via:

2. Click on the "sign in" link
3. Enter your email address in the space provided
4. Click "no, I'm signing up for the first time"
5. Enter your Certificate Number located on your HTH ID Card
6. Enter remaining information in the spaces provided
7. Click "submit"

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
In the case of a medical emergency, OSU students should go to the nearest hospital or physician and then contact HTH's emergency assistance service, MEDEX, identifying themselves as a member of the Group 1241. HTH Worldwide, in conjunction with MEDEX, will continously monitor the student's medical situation and provide care options.
