| Community Links General Overview The Community Links program is an effort to build relationships between current Christian medical students at the Ohio State University and Christian physicians in the Columbus area. The goal of the Community Links program is to give the students a resource and friend in the Christian community, while at the same time giving the physician the opportunity to mentor and encourage a current medical student. Beginning in fall 2005, the Community Links program will be available to all first year and second year medical students involved in the Christian Medical and Dental Association at the Ohio State University, in addition to local physicians who are interesting in taking an active role in their local CMDA chapter. Students and physicians who are involved in the Community Links program will be encouraged to communicate (via email or phone) and meet in person. These activities will be both voluntary and organized by the student and doctor; no oustide work is required to be involved in the Community Links program, nor is there a minimum requirement of interaction between the student and doctor. |
