Psalm 36:5,6 – “Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep.”

Have you ever taken a trip to one of our nation’s national wonders, be it the dependability of Old Faithful at Yellowstone, the majestic Grand Canyon, the mysteries of Mammoth Cave, or the splendor of Niagra Falls?  When was the last time you were able to see a bald eagle soar through the skies or a dolphin streamline through the clear waters?  There is something in all that where all of God’s amazing creations renders us speechless.

One visitor made this wise observation when she recently visited the Grand Canyon with her husband of many years – “"We sat at this point & let our eyes wonder across the canyon.  All worries seeped away into the stony stillness & there was silence."  Next time you have a quiet time, let your eyes wonder upon the glory of God and let Him take away all your worries, all that you hang on to.  Let it all fade away until there is nothing left but you and the beautiful Savior.

Just as we approach the majestic creations He has placed on the earth.  Let Him be the focus, let us approach Christ is a manner of awe and wonder in our soul, of reverence and stillness in our heart.
