Individual Discipleship Plan
Specialized
for: JACK
Please see
debriefing sheet for week 4 to catch up to speed.
You have to
let me know whether you are going to continue d-times or not
with me. If you want Jon to disciple you, go on
ahead...no one is holding you back. However, I still
would like you to stay on for the remainder of the time.
I believe the time will benefit you.
Whatever
people may tell you, your relationship with God reigns over
your relationship with people. Your relationship with
God stems from spending time in the Word, praying, listening
to God's will, and acting upon what God tells you to. No
amount of fellowship with people is going to help you grow
spiritually - that's a fact. So unless you're willing to
take time everyday to develop your relationship with God, your
spirit cannot renew itself and grow.
So here's this
week's reading plan:
- Courage Because I
Was Told to Too: Read the story
of Gideon in Judges
- Courage In the Face of Evil:
Read the story of David in the Kings and Chronicles (and a
little bit of 1 and 2 Samuel as well)
- Courage When No One Else Would:
Take a look at the story of
John the Baptist.
