Week of October 14, 2001
Hello all,
Exams are over!   For now.   I finished the last one on Friday.   I saved the easiest one until the end.   My friends were all very jealous of me as they went in to take Immunology and Pharmacology while I told them I was taking Pathology, which basically amounted to a vocabulary test.
We have had some excitement in the past week.   Nola had a minor altercation with another motorist after the lady backed into her, blamed Nola, and then proceded to drive off.   Nola chased her down and got her information, but there was no damage done to the car.   Then just Thursday night we lost our water pressure.   The water main to the house broke out in the yard.   Nola's parents were nice enough to come and help us get that straightened out this weekend.   It was great to spend some time with them.
This next weekend we are planning a camping trip to Heber Springs in Arkansas.   I am told that there are actually some mountains there so I am optimistically bringing my climbing gear.   The water is supposed to be very clear so I have convinced Nola to be an optimist as well and we are also bringing our snorkeling gear.   I don't think we will be able to stay in the water as long as we did down in the Islands this summer.
Everpraise is going very well.   We have moved it to Saturday afternoon and the Pastor of our church has mentioned the possibility of our eventually branching off to become an independent church.   I told him we would be excited to pursue that, but we would need some help!
I hope all is well on your end, let us know.   Have a great week,
Brenton Reading
