Week of April 29, 2001

Hello all,

The first week of the last block of the first year of medical school went well.   I am trying to find it in myself to begin studying before the week before exams.   So far I have been unsuccessful, but I remain optimistic

Nola is already excited about finishing school and is making plans to renovate the house once we have it in our possession.   It looks like this won't be a relaxing summer although anything is better than trying to avoid studying all the time.

This coming Friday I am going to be making a brief presentation at the Mid-South Coliseum on the dangers of cigarette smoking and the benefits of cessation.   One of the organizers of the meetings there heard about our Breathe Free program and apparently was under the impression that I am an expert of sorts.   Hopefully she won't be too disappointed!

I hope all is well with you.   Have a great week.
