Hello all,
My exams did not all turn out as well as I would have liked so I am a more humble medical student now.   Hopefully that will translate into a more studious medical student.
This past Sabbath I had my debut on the bass.   It is kind of cool to be able to say I play bass in a band.   But, it is not quite such a happening thing when it comes out that we play hymns.   I kept the amp turned down very low so that I was the only one who could hear my mistakes.   The "director" kept telling me to turn up the volume.   I just smiled, said O.K. and turned the knob a fraction of a millimeter.   Next time I will be a bit more confident.
Nola and I met some other medical student's for brunch this morning with Dr. Brian Cheaver at the Peabody Hotel.   If you are ever in Memphis on a Sunday morning, first look us up and then make sure you take us there for brunch!   I love breakfast food and I don't think they left any of the good ones out.   It was great.
Have a wonderful week,
Brenton Reading
