Hello All,

I suppose some of you might be wondering what I am going to do today to celebrate my birthday. Well, I am going to spend most of my birthday rooting around in the body cavities of deceased individuals. Not only is this a surprisingly appropriate activity in light of the season, but hopefully it will pay off next week when we have our Gross Anatomy practical.

Since the weather has been so mild lately Nola and I were going to have some friends over for a more traditional party. We were going to fire up our new grill and celebrate in style, but this is likely my last chance to spend my birthday in a room full of cadavers (I hope!) so I thought I would make the most of it.

Other than today, this week has been relatively lackluster. I suppose that is better than having a list of catastrophes to write about, but it doesn't make for a very interesting report. But, never fear, exam blocks are around the corner with all of their promise of terrifying tests and ruinous results.

So stay tuned! I am off to study.

I hope you've had an interesting week! Write us and let us know how life is treating you.

Take care, Brent Reading
