The clean instruments come out of the washer/sterilizers in this room, the wrapping room. They are then wrapped or packaged on these tables by sterile room surgical technicians. The packaged instruments are then sterilized by autoclave (pressurized steam), or gas (ethylene oxide) if the instruments are delicate.
