Cherilyn Sarcisian La Piere was born on the 20th of May 1946 in El Centro, CA, USA. Her mother Georgia Holt was marieid 8 times.Cher's family was poor and she always tried to help her mom and sister. At 16, she left school and home, and started taking drama lessons from Jeff Corey at Los Angeles. There she met Sonny Bono. Soon Cher moved with Sonny to one place. When her mom found out about Sonny, she tried to split them, but that only rebelled and proclaimed Sonny's and Cher's love to each other. Cher made her first single "Ringo I Love You" after Sonny's begs to Phil Spector to let Cher do a single. Then Sonny and Cher started singing as "Caesar and Cleo", but then changed into "Sonny and Cher". Sonny and Cher made world-wide hits like: " I Got You Babe", "Just You", "Beat Goes On" and "Baby Don't Go". Sonny and Cher were the first hippies who brought to fashion bellbottoms, fur vests, skimpy tops and shaggy hair. Sonny and Cher starred at movies: "Good Times" and "Chastity".In 1969, Sonny and Cher maried. After Cher gave birth to Chastity, they had problems with money and worked in clubs. Then Sonny and Cher made a show called "Sonny And Cher Comedy Hour", that brought success to couple but looses ratings when Cher splits with Sonny and starts her own career. Then Cher meets Greg Allman and maries him. The mariege didn't last long and Elijah was born. During '70th, Cher hits with " Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves", "Half Breed" and "Dark Lady". Later Cher acts on Brodway in the "Come Back To Five & Dime, Jimmie Dean, Jimmie Dean"
One man liked her performance and gave her arole in a big movie "Silkwood". Cher was nominated as for best supporting actress. She was becoming hot property in movie business with further roles in "Mask", "Suspect" and "Whithes Of Eastwick". Cher won oscar for best actress at "Moonstruck". Cher rosks '80th with hits:" I Found Someone", "We All Sleep Alone", "Heart Of Stone", "If I Could Turn Back Time", "Love Hurts" and "One By One" and starrs in "Mermaids"
At '90's, Cher's biggest hit,"Believe", comes out and becomes best-selling single by woman in Britain ever. Cher returns to a big screen in "Tea with Mussolini"
And now in 2002 year, Cher continues her grandiose career by making a new album, "Living Proof".
