About the Beach
Ossossane beach is a part of the longest freshwater beach in the world. It's right in the middle of that long stretch of spectacular sandy beaches between Wasaga and almost the top of the peninsula.

Unlike Wasaga, our area is very private. It's mostly locals who enjoy our beach, the public parking is not allowed. The shore is dotted with cottages but rental properties are scarce. It's an ideal place to have a family vacation.

In our area the crystal-clear water is shallow near the shore making it a safe place for kids to play and swim.
You can easily spend an entire day on the beach in front of the cottage. The beach furniture is provided and so it a kayak. We have a fire pit right on the beach with a pile of drift wood that was recovered from the bay so you can make a barbeque.

Enjoy jogging or going for long walks on the beach. The shore is known for its best sunsets in Ontario.
Rentals of sea-do and stores selling beach apparel can be found at Balm beach (one mile north). Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the area.
