WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY SUPPORT GROUP
March Meeting Notice

WHEN:
Saturday, March 20, 1999 from 1:00pm - 4:30pm.

WHO:
All are invited to attend: both pre- and post-ops and any friends and/or
family members for a great afternoon of friendship, support and information
about Bariatric Surgery and related topics.

WHERE:
The Sierra Room of Peninsula Hospital, 1783 El Camino Real, Burlingame. The
Sierra Room is located on the lower level, near the cafeteria.

DIRECTIONS:
From Highway 101, north or south---take the Millbrae Ave. exit west to El
Camino Real and turn left (south). The hospital is a couple of blocks up on
the right, at the corner of Trousdale & El Camino. From I-280, north or
south---take the Trousdale exit east & follow to El Camino. The hospital is
on the right.

GUEST SPEAKER:
Hazel J. Horsnell & Associates. Hazel will speak on aromatherapy and
massage.  She will be bringing 2 therapists with her to give random hand,
foot and shoulder massages to the group while she speaks. You can check out

CLOTHING EXCHANGE:
If you have clothes that you can no longer wear, or are looking for
something in your "new size", check out our Clothing Exchange. Please, only
bring clothes that are clean and in good condition! Prices for clothing are
from $1.00 - $4.00, and any clothing you donate will earn "Clothes
Dollars", redeemable at any time for other clothes in the exchange.

Can YOU help out with snacks for the meeting?
        Karen Doyle, our Snack Coordinator since August, is stepping down
        from the position. Many thanks to Karen for a great job well done!

Karen Jackson and Michele Bosco will be taking over as Snack Coordinators
for the time being. Donations from members of high-protein, low-fat snacks
or diet sodas are needed. However, please let either Karen or Michele know
if you plan to bring something so that there are no duplications! Also,
anyone interested in the position of Snack Coordinator should contact Karen
or Michele.
