AUTHOR'S RAMBLINGS:

Whew! I have to admit, html-izing this was such a nightmare with all my majors breathing down my neck. Finally, it's finished. Never actually thought I'd be able to pull this off. I'm glad, though. Extreme Ghostbusters is one of those cartoons that I really like, and damn the people who are trying to pull it down.

Thank you very much to Ate Candy (yeh, so I mentioned you). You know what you did. And even if you don't, it's better that way.

AUTHOR'S NOTES:

On the lack of Janine and Egon. Well, I'm one of the RGB fans who are (surprise-surprise!) not pro Egon-Janine. I mean, I don't believe Egon will be happy with Janine. But it's just my idea. Some people probably know the real reason why but I'm not stating it here. ^_^

On the relationships with the other XGB. I like all of them. I like the way how Eduardo always teases Kylie, how he and Garrett always bicker, and the respect he has for Roland. The idea of putting an Eduardo-Kylie love thing here was completely out of the question although I like them together. I wanted to put them here as friends, maybe a closer group of friends than others although they never realized it. Roland's figuring things out is because I pegged him to be the "Egon" of the group. His answer to Asher's question made me almost sad. I don't know why.

On the abuse. I had the sneaking suspicion that Eduardo was an abused child, and I'm glad other people also believed it (I found this essay proving he is, and I was glad I wasn't the only one who noticed, although I only noticed minor details). However I do NOT believe Carl / Carlo was also abusing Eduardo. I rather think the older brother was also abused but became a police not only for saving Eduardo and other kids BUT rather because he wanted to somehow please his father. That's why he became so much like his father, a little rough, a little tough, a cop. But he would never hurt Kevin. He loves him too much. At least, that's what I deduced.

On the mother. I noticed there was not much mention on Eduardo and Carlo's mother so I took liberties here. I have this fascination with mother-son relationships. Weird, ne? His immediate distrust of grown-ups is probably because he grew up without the nice relationship with someone else. His mother might be one of the reasons why he turned out to become such a bitter child.

On the truth-function note. For the record, the title was supposed to be "truth functions" but I hesitated and changed it instead. I'm having trouble with my Logic prof, who is Tan, not Armado or Vlad. He's really great and intelligent and all, and he's interesting, too, but I cannot for the life of me understand what he's saying. Maybe I'm just dumb or something.

On "Dornkirk". Yeah, anime fans would probably get this. *snicker* I was listening to Escaflowne: OST 3 when I started this fic so the first name that popped into my mind was Dornkirk. Well, actually, it was Newton, but that would be too weird. So I used Dornkirk instead. The image of Van and Hitomi saying goodbye is just in my head.

On the swearing. I know the characters of EGB never swear. But, hell, come on! I mean, even the kids of Captain Planet swore in at least one episode! And this is a fanfic!

On the Yin-and-Yang, Suikoden II, and Biohazard. Yeah, I know. Yin-and-Yang is the monster in Final Fantasy VII before you get Vincent Valentine. Suikoden II is currently the game I'm obsessing on. Biohazard is currently the game my friend is obsessing on.

FINAL NOTES:

'Kay...according to my computer time, it's 3:38 am and I'd better go to sleep. Finished at 03/03/2001. Revised at 03/05/2001. Both at late night (early morning?) My roommates are going to kill me for not going to sleep and turning off the lights. Thank you for reading this fic. I enjoyed writing it.
