DE OSKAR OLAZO Versátil
e intenso Oskar Olazo ha disgregado su trabajo en dos áreas
próximas y complementarias. Por un lado ha desarrollado una
propuesta figurativa, manifiesta en la recreación de diversas
edificaciones demarcadas por trazos geométricos que parcelan el
lienzo a manera de pequeños encuadres que funcionan
autónomamente pero también como elementos
imprescindibles dentro del corpus del cuadro. Paralelamente
Olazo presenta una vertiente aproximada al abstracto, a través
de arcanos reinos salidos de su imaginación creadora: Universos
oníricos con evidente influjo de la mitología y los rituales
precolombinos. Si bien ambas propuestasson trabajadas de manera
independiente la característica que que los engarza es la
armonía cromática que ostentan cuadros de una y otra

DREAM UNIVERSES
OF
OSKAR OLAZO
Flexible and intence, Oskar Olazo has divided his
his work in two areas, close and comlementary. On one hand, he has developed
a figurative tendency that appers in the re-ccreations of different edifices
traced with geometric lines that break up the canvas into small
'frames' that function autonomously, but also work as essential elements
within the painting´s body. At the same time Olazo presents another
tendency, close to abstract, the enigmatic realms of of his creative
imagination, the Dream Universes with the evident influence of of the
pre-columbian mythology and rituals. If both tendencies are developed
independently, the feature that connects them is the harmony of color that
show the paintings of both lines.
