BIOGRAFIA DEL
ARTISTA
Oskar Olazo empieza su actividad como pintor
en 1970 con la primera exposición del "Grupo Illary
70" co-fundado por él con otros 5 pintores cusqueños.
Posteriormente (1975)
incursiona en diseño de escenografía teatral habiendo colaborado
con los grupos de teatro "Máscara", "Impulso",
"Retama", teatro universitario "TEUC", Ballet de
Kiev.
Co-fundador y organizador del
encuentro de arte total "Imapimuspo" (8 ediciones) 1981 a
1992 y el 1er Encuentro Latinoamericano de Artistas Plásticos (Cusco
- Perú, 2001).
Sus obras forman parte de
colecciones privadas en Perú, Argentina, Canadá, Alemania,
Ecuador, Estados Unidos, así también del Museo de Arte
Contemporáneo de la Municipalidad de Cusco y la colección de
pintores contemporáneos del Banco Continental (Lima - Perú).
Exposiciones en: Perú,
Argentina, Chile, Brasil, Ecuador, Bolivia, Estados Unidos.

THE
ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY
Oskar Olazo starts his
artistic activity in 1970 with the first exhibition of the "Grupo Illary
70" co-founded by him together with other 5 artists of Cusco.
Later (1975) turns to the
theatrical design cooperating with the theater groups "Máscara", "Impulso",
"Retama", University theater "TEUC", Kiev
Ballet.
Co-founder and organizer of
the meeting of total art "Imapimuspo" (8 editions) 1981 to
1992 and the 1st Latin American Meeting of Plastic Artists (Cusco
- Peru, 2001).
His works form part of private
collections in Peru, Argentina, Canada, Germany,
Ecuador, United States, as well as of the Museum of Contemporary art
of the Municipality of Cusco and the collection of contemporary
artists of the Continental Bank (Lima - Peru).
