* Preparation

My second holiday arose from the lay-off of Daan (my colleague and travelling companion) and me at Ericsson in Enschede (The Netherlands). The company closed down completely due to the bad economic prospects. The mass lay-off yielded both Daan and me 3 months of paid leave and a nice "good-bye" bonus. Because of our good experiences with Willis's Walkabouts, we booked a trip with him again. This time a bushwalk of 4 weeks in the Drysdale National Park in The Kimberley (Western Australia), preceded by 2 weeks of acclimatization in Kununurra.

We took the following things for breakfast and lunch (supplies for 4 weeks):

56 muesli bars
2 packs crackers (30 per pack)
2 packs cheese crackers
2 salami sausages (250 g each, not eaten)
3 pakken Kellog's cornflakes (800 g per pack)
3 pakken sugar cookies (20 per pack)
6 cans tuna (125 g per can, 3 not eaten)
2 jars hazelnut spread
2 cans milk powder (to go with the cornflakes)
2 packs Butter Scotch
1.2 kg nuts
