It turned out to be one of those good news/bad news things. I never did get the full amount of my new car out of the insurance adjuster, and had to find alternate means of obtaining the remaining balance (isn't family great?)
At any rate, the issues have been resolved, and my new car is parked happily in my driveway. Obviously, my tastes ran fairly similar to my previous choice. What can I say? It's a reliable car.
