Bloodlust
Bloodlust
In the blink of an eye
my world had changed,
and eternity stood at my door.
In the flash of an instant
the blood on the blade
what I knew was now no more.
Like a rose upon silk
were my lips to her skin
and the echoes of a night's reflection.
Red tears, pale flesh,
and the deep rouge stains
upon the sharp ivory perfections.
Her shallow breathing,
lustful moan,
one heartbeat, body and soul.
Crimson paradise runs slowly
down the point of my chin
how precious seems the life that I stole...
