Baby Number 2!

Orion is our second child, and therefore I have neglected updating the web site for some time now.  He deserves more, since he is a very special baby indeed.  He was born on the second of July in the year 2000.  We named him Orion after the constellation Orion the hunter.  Orion the hunter has been my favorite constellation since I was a kid.  It is easily identified and very large in comparison to other constellations.  The image is clear that a boy named Orion should grow to be tall and strong.

We took hypno birthing classes to try to have a natural delivery and I think they worked.  Ratih held out for a long time and did not have to have a full epidural.  I think it was key to the successful natural birth, since the Oshean was too big.  Our doctor and teacher Angelica Zaid really helped us through it.

When we got home from the hospital we were excited to send some phots off to our Ratih's family across the sea, so we used our web cam to take some quick photos to send.  Oshean seemed to enjoy it too.
