All of the kids left sweaty, but thrilled, and begged for another open house like this next year. It was fun for the whole family and a chance to get to know other families. I think that we can call it a HUGE success.

Dear Parents,

Thanks to you, the Open House and Sock Hop last week was a huge success! It was great getting to know our teachers and staff a little better and a prime opportunity for proud students to show off their classrooms to their family. People were seen getting a little wild dancing at the Sock Hop, as well as munching on the delicious goodies -- everyone had a terrific time! We know this is something we will look forward to again in the future.

Because of your generous contributions, $346 was raised for our school's new library. Participation for the event set new records, with more than 300 people attending. This is just another example of how wonderful the kids and their families are that attend Ocean Shores Elementary. Of course each individual does make a difference, and no event would be the same without any one person there.

Improvements and changes can't be done without your help. Thank you for your continued support of our school
