The bible says that God is love and that the whole of His law can be reduced to the principle of doing for others as we would want them to do for us(Mt 22:37-39)
God has loved us enough to expose our cotempt for Him.In our days can we see the quality of life declining as in the days of prophet Malachi in Jerusalem.A world we live where marriages are in trouble.Crime is a problem.Parent-child relationship keeps on deteriorating,so called spiritual leaders lack intergrity and immorality is on the acendency.People really need words of encouragement and comfort.God loves us enough to show us that many of our personal and social problems are as a result of our own contempt for God.The bible says "Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another,and the LORD listened and heard them;so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and meditate on His name."They shall be Mine" says the LORD of host, "on the day that I will make them My jewels.And I will spare his own son who serves him.Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked,between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him(Malachi 3:16-18)
God loves us unconditionally, because He did not spare His own son but delivered Him up for us all,how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Rom 8:32). It is this love that encourages us to give up trying to trust Him in our own strength, that teaches us to believe that He call us righteous and that love that calls us to a higher way of living. He provide the spiritual enablement for us to grow into new way of life.
