We have been running a NGO titled as Organization for Social Development of Unemployed Youth (OSDUY) since 1997. Our Organization have taken up the following programs for social uplift meant,

IEC program on prevention of STD/AIDS through hand in hand distribution of Book-let "AIDS-Premature Death" duly approved by the AIDS/STD programme, Ministry of health & Family Welfare, government of Bangladesh.

IEC on Reproductive Health Care management through distribution of message Book titled "Projanan Sastha Paricharja" among the people of reproductive age on cost recovery system in the community duly approved by the Ministry of Health & Family welfare, Government of Bangladesh.

IEC on prevention of drug abuse through distribution of message Book on drug abuse among the community. The message Book titled " Madok Nesha Moron Nesha"

All these messages Books have had a practical impact on the targeted population and it is putting lasting impression on awareness in the areas of prevention of STD/AIDS/HIV, protection of reproductive tracks and prevention of drug-abuse socially and spiritually and medically.

The patronage from the government & funding from the UNDP in the STD/AIDS prevention is limited. We require 3000000 ( three million) Book-let on STD/AIDS prevention for distribution & counseling among 32 million population of reproductive age as a first hand thrust. However, 125000 (One hundred and twenty five thousands) Book-let have already been printed & under distribution among the targeted population.

The message book-let on STD/AIDS contains all the relevant information on safe practices in sex behavior and it make the readers fully aware of the situation of sex abuse & grow sense of self-protection from sex diseases including HIV/AIDS and as such the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is patronizing the Book-let distribution in a limited form.

We feel that about 32 million population of reproductive age of the country are to be addressed through hand in hand delivery of Book-let with counseling at a single thrust at a time to make the total population raised to the occasion & be aware of self-protection from STD/AIDS, so that everyone from everywhere is equally aware not to be left anyone anywhere unaware and if we cannot address everywhere at a time we may not be successful everywhere in the combating of STD/AIDS.

We seek support from any funding partner for printing of 3000000 (three Million) Book-let for distribution among 32 million population of reproductive age throughout the country.

We are enclosing the contents of the message Book-let in its actual form which is printed in the Bengali language for internal distribution within the country.

We hope that you will appreciate the propositions of the Book-let which are most relevant & appropriate in the prevention of STD/AIDS which help develop behavioral change & attitude in the sexual health of the elder & adolescents both. We have observed that the Book-let is cutting like hot cake among the targeted groups since its publications.
