[Unnamed group poem. Frodo, Oscelot, and SR388, Feb 2003]
The woods at night are dark and deep
where spirits dance while mortals sleep
and I have trod a moonlit silver way
danced and sung, lit a flame and prayed
past the light of mortal's make
where the temporal creatures do wake
a silver light, a silver flame,
guides thee to thy safest place.
pass thee by the blackest night,
let the silver way be thy guide,
and in time, find thee well
under full moon,
dancing health.
It's this for which I light my flame,
And for your heart I take the blame
Its moonlit path it follows now
(But only if________you_____allow)
