The god thing about this thruters is that they are really light weight, at only 3.5 N in H20. The Fact that we are running these below their max potential we use this for lateral motion.

| These thrusters were bought from Seabotics, they normally run on 19VDC but we only run 12VDC and they still perform as desired. | We use two of these trolling motors, runing 12VDC and a max of 20 Amps, for vertical movement. These motors are normally used in boats in the no-wake zone. We figured that if the are strong enough to propell a boat, they strong enough to move our comparably smaller ROVs. | |||||||||||
