76th Academy Awards Poster Distributed in Nationwide Promotional Campaign
Beverly Hills, CA - The official 76th Oscar poster was mailed this week to 50,000 movie theaters and video retailers nationwide where they will be displayed until the 76th Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 29.
Designed by pop artist Burton Morris, this year's poster is one of the most colorful and playful Academy Award posters created to date, emphasizing the fun, glamour and excitement of Oscar Night.
The commemorative poster also is available for purchase until March 15 on the Academy's website, www.oscars.org/publications, or via phone at 1-800-554-1814.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on Sunday, February 29, 2004, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST, beginning with a half-hour arrival segment.
