Nicole Kidman to Make Oscar Show Appearance

Beverly Hills, CA - Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman has been set to present at the 76th Academy Awards by telecast producer Joe Roth.

Kidman, who has been nominated twice for an Academy Award, won a Best Actress Oscar last year for the role of Virginia Woolf in "The Hours." She also was nominated in 2001 for her leading role in "Moulin Rouge."

Kidman currently can be seen in "Cold Mountain" and "The Human Stain" and will be seen next in "Dogville," "Birth" and "The Stepford Wives." Her other film credits include "The Others," "Eyes Wide Shut," "Portrait of a Lady" and "Dead Calm."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on Sunday, February 29, 2004, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST, beginning with a half-hour arrival segment.
