Michael Douglas Makes Oscar Show Appearance
Beverly Hills, CA - Academy Award-winning actor and producer Michael Douglas will be a presenter on the 75th Anniversary Academy
Awards telecast, producer Gil Cates announced today. It will be his tenth time presenting.
Douglas is a two-time Academy Award winner. In 1975, he took home a Best Picture Oscar for "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and in
1987 he won a Best Actor Oscar for his leading role in "Wall Street." Douglas will be seen next in the soon to be released "It
Runs in the Family" and "The In-Laws." His other film credits include "Traffic," "Falling Down" and "Fatal Attraction."
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2002 will be presented on Sunday, March 23, 2003, at the Kodak Theatre at
Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST. A half-hour arrival segment
will precede the presentation ceremony at 5 p.m.
