Salma Hayek to Present at 75th Academy Awards

Beverly Hills, CA - Salma Hayek will make her third appearance as a presenter 
on an Oscar telecast, 75th Academy Awards telecast producer Gil Cates has 
announced.

Hayek currently can be seen in "Frida" and will be seen next in "Once upon a 
Time in Mexico" opposite Antonio Banderas.  She recently completed her 
directorial debut on "Maldonado Miracle" for Showtime.  Hayek's film credits 
include "Dogma," "Wild Wild West," "Chain of Fools" and "Fools Rush In."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2002 will be presented on 
Sunday, March 23, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised 
live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST.  A half-hour 
arrival segment will precede the presentation ceremony at 5 p.m.
