John Travolta to Make Eighth Oscar Show Appearance

Beverly Hills, CA -John Travolta will present at the 74th Academy Awards presentation, 
producer Laura Ziskin announced today. It will be his eighth appearance as an Oscar show 
presenter.

Travolta has twice been nominated by the Academy in the Leading Actor category, for 
"Saturday Night Fever" in 1977 and "Pulp Fiction" in 1994. He currently is in production on 
"Basic" and was most recently seen in "Swordfish" with Halle Berry. Travolta's other film 
credits include "Domestic Disturbance, " "A Civil Action," "Primary Colors," "Face Off" and 
"Phenomenon."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001 will be presented on Sunday, March 
24, 2002, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC Television 
Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. (PST). A half-hour arrival segment will precede the presentation 
ceremony at 5 p.m.
