Hugh Jackman to Make First Oscar Show Appearance

Beverly Hills, CA - Actor Hugh Jackman is scheduled to make his first Oscar show appearance as 
a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

Jackman, who stars with Meg Ryan in the Miramax film "Kate & Leopold," is set to reprise the 
role of Wolverine in the sequel to the 20th Century Fox film "X-Men."

His other film credits include "Swordfish," with John Travolta and Halle Berry, and "Someone 
Like You," co-starring Ashley Judd and Greg Kinnear.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001 will be presented on Sunday, March 24, 
at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC Television Network 
beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST. A half-hour arrival segment will precede the presentation ceremony 
at 5 p.m.
