Josh Hartnett to Make First Oscar Show Appearance

Beverly Hills, CA - Actor Josh Hartnett has been tapped to present at the 74th Academy Awards,
producer Laura Ziskin announced today. It will be his first appearance as an OscarŽ presenter.

Hartnett currently can be seen in "Black Hawk Down" and "40 Days and 40 Nights." His other 
film credits include "Pearl Harbor," "O" and "The Virgin Suicides."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001 will be presented on Sunday, March 
24, 2002, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & HighlandŽ and televised live by the ABC 
Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. (PST). A half-hour arrival segment will precede 
the presentation ceremony at 5 p.m.
