Academy Trailers Shipped to Movie Theaters Nationwide Beverly Hills, CA - Movie goers nationwide will be treated to a special one-minute trailer during the month of March promoting the 74th Academy Awards Presentation on March 24. Some 14,000 prints of the trailer have been shipped to movie theaters nationwide. Film fans will be reminded of some of 2001's most memorable achievements as they watch the 15 assembled clips representing nominees in the Leading Actor, Leading Actress and Best Picture categories. Graphic designer and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Arnold Schwartzman has produced the trailer, his sixth. Schwartzman, who received an Oscar for "Genocide," 1981's Best Documentary Feature, is chairman of the Academy's Documentary Awards Executive Committee. This year Schwartzman worked from designs created by Kyle Cooper of Imaginary Forces which will be repeated in the graphic design of the 74th Academy Awards Telecast. Eastman Kodak donated the film stock and Deluxe Laboratories provided processing services for the trailer's production. Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001 will be presented on Sunday, March 24, 2002, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & HighlandŽ and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. (PST).
