Cameron Diaz to Make Third Oscar Show Appearance

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Actress Cameron Diaz has been tapped to present at the 74th Academy Awards,
producer Laura Ziskin announced today.  It will be her third appearance as a presenter 
at the Oscars.

Diaz will be seen next in "The Sweetest Thing," due out in April, and "Gangs of New York," to 
be released later in 2002.  Her other film credits include "Vanilla Sky," "Charlie’s Angels," 
"Any Given Sunday," "There’s Something about Mary," "The Mask" and "My Best Friend’s Wedding."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001 will be presented on Sunday, March 
24, 2002, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC 
Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. (PST). A half-hour arrival segment will precede the 
presentation ceremony at 5 p.m.
