Faith Hill to Perform at The 74th Academy Awards Beverly Hills, CA - Multiple Grammy-award winner Faith Hill will perform at the 74th Academy Awards, producer Laura Ziskin announced today. This will be Hill's second time performing on the Oscar show and will mark her first public performance since September 21st, 2001. She will sing her recording of "There You'll Be" from "Pearl Harbor," written by Diane Warren, which is nominated in the Best Original Song category. "I'm honored to have been asked to perform Diane's song on the Oscars," said Hill, "and I'm looking forward to being there again." At the 72nd Academy Awards telecast, Hill participated in a song medley with Burt Bacharach, Garth Brooks, Ray Charles, Isaac Hayes, Queen Latifah and Dionne Warwick. She is one of the world's most loved performers, has sold 25 million records worldwide and has garnered ten #1 singles. Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001 will be presented on Sunday, March 24, 2002, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST.
