BAZ LUHRMANN AND CHRISTOPHER NOLAN FOR BEST DIRECTOR. DROP LOTR AND IN THE BEDROOM FROM PICTURE. SISSY SPACEK, RENEE ZELLWEGER, AND IAN MCKELLEN ALSO DROPPED. DROP PETER JACKSON AS WELL."

"There is good competition in many of this year�s categories. I wish Russell Crowe hadn�t won last year for "Gladiator" since he will most likely win this year. I didn�t think he deserved the win at the last Oscars, but his performance in "A Beautiful Mind" was good enough to place him as front-runner in this year�s Best Actor race. Congratulations in advance for "Memento" as I�m sure it will take the award for Best Original Screenplay and maybe even for Film Editing!"
