There is yet another crime wave in the city and it is all being perpotrated by the Wilson Heights Gang. Commendant Lessard (George Gaynes) has put together a crack seven man team to help curb the violent crime spree.

Lessard has called on his favourite seven officers: clean cut nick (Matt McCoy); tall drink of water Hightower (Bubba Smith); Jones, master of the sound effects (Michael Winslow); low voice Hooks (Marion Ramsey); Lusty Callahan (Leslie Easterbrook); and the man with the arsenal, Tackleberry (the late David Graf).

Using all of their cunning, the wacky gang must stop the crime spree before Harris (G.W. Bailey) and Proctor (Lance Kinsey) can screw things up for our gang - permanently!

Personal Comments

Police Academy 6 has a better plot than the last three films, but it's still a bad movie. You know it's a bad movie because it's length is less than the standard 90 minutes.

It has some great moments, including Jones as the robot, as well as Hooks and Hightower rapping in the park. Classic.

Harris and Proctor (as always) are the main comic foil in the movie. They are there to get the laughs which are diverted from the main group (I thought the whole point of the film was that everyone was supposed to get laughs?)

Plot:

Visual Effects:
Some nice scenes.

Sound:
The Police Academy theme always give this catagory a boost.

Character Development:
More than in previous films.

Atmosphere:
Better than the last three Police Academy films.

Realism:
Getting better. Got to admit it's gettin' better. (Pun intended).
