Tara
Then I went to drop off some doggie muffins for Samson.  All four dogs were very patient while Mrs. Ravis gave each of them a piece of the muffins.

I went to pick up Tara and Anastasias Santa photos!  Arent they absolutely adorable?!
Its a dessert meal!  Tara got the treats she received from obedience class graduation for Christmas dinner!

Nothing much is happening this Christmas.  I have been pretty much spent the last five weeks working everyday, seven days a week, at the lab.  But Tara and Anastasia still got their special Christmas dinner.
Tara and Anastasia.  Anastasia was on the dog bed first, then Tara slept on the side of it.

Jennys dad sent an update about her.  Jenny is doing great, even better when taken running for at least 5 miles a day.  Her energy level hasnt dropped a bit.  On the growth front, she is getting bigger by the day. I took her into the vet a couple of weeks ago and she weighed in at 39 lbs.  Attached are a couple recent photos.  As you can see, she has taken to snuggling in with the kids during reading time.  Around Carol, she thinks she is a lap dog.
The funniest incident lately involves her barking at TV images of a Moose.  Carol and I enjoy watching the old show Northern Exposure about Life in Alaska.  Jenny has taken offense at the Moose strutting through town in the intro and had gone to great lengths to protect Carol and I from the Moose emerging through the television.
I gave Tara another bath, on New Years Eve.  It hasnt been a very cold winter, but I observed that when I bath the dogs during the winter, after bath, while they are still wet, if I dont wrap them in blankets or start blow drying them, then they would start shivering.  Anyways, I got a new space heater, because the furnace broke and I didnt know when the apartment manager would fix it over the holiday break.  It ended up she had the janitors fixed it on the same day that I told her about it, but I am still using the space heater occasionally, to help reduce heating cost.  Then today when I gave Tara a bath, I thought also I can use the space heater to help keep her warm while shes still wet.  And I think it helps dry her off a little bit too.  I would never keep the space heater on when Im not at home of course, and I specifically picked one that has automatic shut-off feature if its tipped over.  Also, another way Ive chosen to reduce heating cost this year is to set the thermostat lower.  For the past winter, Ive set it to 68 degrees.  Ive tried to decrease it down to 65 degrees overnight before, but I felt so cold that I set it back to 68 degree.  But for the past few months, Ive decreased little by little, one degree decrease every two weeks or so, and Ive hardly felt the difference, now its 65 degrees.  Its true desensitization in the works!  I think Tara and Anastasia are okay with the lowered temperature too, I havent noticed any change in their behavior (before when I lowered the temperature overnight, Anastasia would curl up in her bed and sleep more).
Tara was sleeping near me as I was watching TV, and then Anastasia walked by, sniffed Tara, and sat down next to her.  I think in the last month or so, Anastasia figured out that Taras vision isnt good.  So there have been a couple occasions, rather than keeping out of the dogs way, Anastasia would stand her ground and swipe her paw at the dog when Tara walked toward her, and a couple incidences like in the picture, of Anastasia settling down very near Tara while the dogs sleeping.
