| Angie and Larry really liked Ringo and had considered adopting him, but Ringo was tested with cats at one of the potential adoptive homes and it did not work out. Angie and Larry brought out Kramer, their cat, for Ringo to see, and at first he didnt see the cat, but once Kramer scratched him trying to get away, Ringo was very focused and interested in the cat. Angie wants a older male dog who is cat friendly, so I guess well look for another home for Ringo. | ||||||||||
| I petted Dede and Bella, and Bella fell sleep in my arms. When I put her down on the large dog bed in the livingroom, she did not even move. Angie said jokingly to check that Bella is still breathing. | ||||||||||

| Millie kept Ringo for the week until she drove him back to Judies. We think he looks very handsome with his new haircut! Photo contributed by Millie. |

| I put the teddy bear toy in Bellas arms. Arent she and Dede cute! Around 2 PM, Millie and I left Angies house. I had a lot of fun at Walk N Wag, and it was very nice meeting Dede and Larry and seeing Millie and Bella, and I even learned while grooming Ringo. | ||||||||||

| Bella and her new family in Atlanta. | ||||||||||
| Saturday, September 9, 2006 Angie emailed about Bellas adoption and photos her new family sent. Bella left for her new life a few minutes ago. I was very sad and very very happy at the same time. What a great family. They have a neighborhood dog park where Bella can play with other dogs. They were definitely going to take her to puppy class and she will get to walk to and from school with the kids every day. The kids played ball with her in the back yard today while dad filled out the paperwork and wrote the check. They asked all of the right questions and had all of the right answers for me. Both parents used great supervision with the children and Bella. They even bought a book left over from The Walk and Wag today. The kids walked her to the car and she never looked back. This has been a very positive fostering experience for me my first time out. |
